Thomas Kinkade Company to Exhibit at International Artexpo in New York City

On Saturday, February 28th, at 11:30AM, the Thomas Kinkade Company will host a special Artexpo unveiling to the public of Thomas Kinkade's newest Studio Masterwork  Pinocchio Wishes Upon A Star.   This highly-anticipated second release in the Disney Dreams Collection will be featured along with many other sought-after Limited Edition prints at the Thomas Kinkade booth, #1928.    In addition, free autographed 16" x 20" Light of Freedom prints will be given to the first 500 visitors to the booth on Saturday, February 28th, and if quantities permit on Sunday March 1st.

Celebrating his 25th anniversary as a published artist in 2009, Thomas Kinkade is regarded as today's most widely collected living artist.  He is known around the world for his tranquil, light-infused paintings that affirm the basic values of family, faith, and the beauty of nature. Kinkade has received numerous accolades for his works on and off the canvas, including multiple National Association of Limited Edition Dealers (NALED) awards for Artist of the Year, Graphic Artist of the Year, and nine awards for Lithograph of the Year. He has commemorated a number of important milestones in American heritage, including the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Disneyland's 50th Anniversary, the 85th Farewell Season of Yankee Stadium, Graceland's 50th Anniversary, and others. He is also involved in a number of nonprofit organizations focusing on children, humanitarian relief, and the arts.

In addition, Artexpo New York will be the venue for two special trade only seminars that will be conducted by Jennifer Harlan and Todd Bales for the Thomas Kinkade Company on the topics of The Consultative Sales Approach to Art and The Making of a Great Event.

Now in its 31st year, Artexpo New York will showcase exciting original artworks, prints, and the latest trends in the art world from more than 500 artists, galleries and publishers across the globe. Artwork includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, lithographs, photography, and posters ranging from $100 - $100,000. This year, the show expects to have more than 25,000 buyers, established dealers, collectors, designers, architects and art enthusiasts walking  the show floor.

Artexpo New York is the only art trade show to offer industry professionals access to thousands of works at wholesale prices being held at in Manhattan at the  Jacob Javits Center (www.artexpos.com) Thursday, February 26 through Monday, March 2, 2009.  The first two days are open to trade only, starting February 26.  The public is invited to attend beginning Saturday, February 28 through Monday March 2, 2008.  Over the last three days, visitors from the general public can also buy straight from the source.
