Thomas Kinkade to Debut on ShopNBC July 8

Morgan Hill, CA - Thomas Kinkade, the award winning world renowned artist known as "The Painter of LightTM", and ShopNBC are delighted to announce the premier of four Thomas Kinkade shows scheduled for July 8, 2009 featuring personal appearances by the artist himself. As part of ShopNBC's 24 Hour Collector's Day Event, the first of four shows will debut at 11:00am ET. Debuting on ShopNBC is an exciting part of Mr. Kinkade's celebration of his 25th Anniversary as a published artist in 2009. Regarded as today's most widely collected living artist, Thomas Kinkade is known around the world for his tranquil, light-infused paintings that affirm the basic values of family, faith, and the beauty of nature. As a newly authorized Thomas Kinkade gallery, ShopNBC has the added privilege of exclusively launching the newest image in the Disney Dreams Collection. Tinker Bell and Peter Pan Fly to Neverland. This third release to be unveiled from the collection promises to be a favorite among Thomas Kinkade collectors and Disney fans.

Other exclusive offers on ShopNBC will include pieces from Thomas Kinkade's Spring Gate Collection and Cityscapes Collection, among others, offered for the very first time in new formats.

From the Spring Gate Collection, ShopNBC customers will be able to choose among three specific pieces offered for the very first time in a Gallery Wrapped Canvas format. Thomas Kinkade's overall Gate Collection began early in his career and sparked his fascination with the "inviting mystery of gates". This particular series began with Spring Gate and followed the natural progression with Beyond Spring Gate and the latest, Gardens Beyond Spring Gate.

From the Cityscapes Collection, ShopNBC will be offering San Francisco, Lombard Street  in a new size and format. Thomas Kinkade eloquently describes this painting by saying "This is a golden evening; the warm glow of sunset banishes the mist and paints the busy streets with its cheerful lights. The exuberance of city life is everywhere evident. On Lombard Street, on an evening such as this, life is a gala celebration of the endless possibilities of city life."
